Donald Allen, Vice President

Donald has nearly twenty years of experience in human resources; having developed skills in HR management, and diversity management with firms such as Motorola and Shore Bank. He currently serves as Director, Personnel Policy & Utilization with the City of Chicago, Department of Fleet and Facility Management. 

Donald currently serves on the City of Chicago Commission on Human Relations, Board of Commissioners; and the Human Resources Committee with the Healthy Schools Campaign. Additionally, Donald has spent a lifetime in the pursuit of physical fitness; he has completedthe Chicago Marathon, competed in triathlons, and survived several centuries (100 mile), single day and extended day, bike rides.

Diana Valenzuela, Secretary 

Diana is an accomplished technical business leader with 15 years of experience in larger, complex organizations providing global strategic vision and direction. Delivering innovative solutions and solid leadership while synthesizing client needs with organizational goals to develop strategic plans. 

​She believes Track and Field is a way to develop both physical and mental agility which helps prepare youth athletes as they matriculate into school, work and social environments. 

​Michael Bradley, Treasurer


Michel Bradley  is the CFO for Chicago City Colleges of Lake County. He will help the organization achieve its strategic objectives while fulfilling its mission and financial goals. Michael will help the Saints Youth Track club to manage it's capital and improve investor relations in support of it's goal of opening a Community Center

Heraldo Morrison, President & Coach

Heraldo has been coaching for over 13 years. He started coaching because he wants to provide to children the same benefits that track and field has provided for him.; the ability to control your destiny, gains self confidence, overcome challenges and accomplish goals.  

​He started coaching at St. Columbanus School where he started his running career. He revived the progam and now coaches children from 3rd grade through 8th grade. He teaches kids the fundamentals of running and competing in track and field. In addition, he became the Head Coach of UIC College Prep boys and girls team. He rebuilt the track and field program, and in 2013, 8 runners went to the state meet. competing in sprinting and middle distance events.

Heraldo started Saints Track Club because he wanted to give children who are serious about track exposure to a more competitive environment., He provides opportunities for children to earn scholarships to college and participate in statewide, nationwide and worldwide competitions. Since the start of the Saints Track Club six years ago, he has sent 6 runners to the USATF National Junior Olympics competition, 20 to the Regional Junior Olympics and 60 to the State Junior Olympic competition. Heraldo is presently coaching at St. Columbanus, UIC College Prep and Saints Track Club. 

John Thomas, Board Member


John Thomas is an Associate Professor, College of Lake County, where he has taught for 26 years. He teaches mathematics. He truly believe in the purpose and scope of the organization – Providing children and teens the opportunity to develop and achieve personal milestones via track and field while learning sportsmanship and teamwork through competition.
